Lincoln University 

New Zealand’s specialist land-based university

 

With its beginnings as an agricultural college in 1878, Lincoln became a university in its own right in 1990 and is now known as New Zealand’s specialist land-based university and has a mission to feed the world, protect the future and help people live well.

Lincoln University, Te Waihora (Christchurch) Campus is situated on a 58-hectare campus less than 30 minutes’ drive from the centre of Christchurch. The campus has a mix of modern and traditional buildings, surrounded by trees and open spaces and a staff to student ratio of 1:14.

Toi Whakaari New Zealand School of Drama

Youth Service provides mentoring and support to young adults aged 16 and 17 years of age to assist them in progressing their education and qualification options in order for them to move on to further higher study or employment.

This service also works with Young Person benefit clients (16 & 17 yrs) who may have a family relationship breakdown and unable to live at home, as well as Young Parent Payment clients (16 - 19 yrs) to provide a full wrap around service to meet their needs and obligations.
