Our Institute was opened in 1990 and we have specialised in tertiary education with an international and interdisciplinary flavour last 25 years. We are actually the first privately owned tertiary institute in New Zealand.We offer diplomas at Level 5, bachelor’s degree, graduate diploma, post graduate diploma and master's courses. 

Our institute has a very strong view that the nation is only moving in one direction – extending outward, into strong player in the global community. Lincoln University 

New Zealand’s specialist land-based university

With its beginnings as an agricultural college in 1878, Lincoln became a university in its own right in 1990 and is now known as New Zealand’s specialist land-based university and has a mission to feed the world, protect the future and help people live well.

Lincoln University has two south island campuses. The Te Waihora (Christchurch) Campus is situated on a 58-hectare campus less than 30 minutes’ drive from the centre of Christchurch. The campus has a mix of modern and traditional buildings, surrounded by trees and open spaces and a staff to student ratio of 1:14. The Telford Campus extends over 800 hectares of farmland, the campus is basked 6km from Balclutha in South Otago and is surrounded by the beautiful Catlin’s.

Pacific International Hotel Management School

Queenstown Resort College

Queenstown Resort College is a Tertiary Institution offering Diplomas in Adventure Tourism Management and Hospitality management. As part of the Diploma, students take part in 6-9 month paid industry internships.

University of Otago

Wellington ICT Graduate School

The Wellington ICT Graduate School is a new and exciting initiative developed by Wellington’s three leading tertiary establishments (Victoria University, WelTEC and Whitireia) that seeks to advance and support the development of ICT skill and talent throughout New Zealand.

In 2017, six Master’s-level degrees will be taught, developing students in the areas of software development, business analysis and engineering. The Wellington ICT Grad School has a joint industry and academic board and its central team is located in downtown Wellington, with offices in the city's new innovation hub.

Youth Service 

Youth Service is a new approach to working with young people.

It aims to get young people into education, training or work-based learning. This will help young people gain the skills to find a job and have an independent future.

Young people work with community-based providers who give guidance, support and encouragement to help them find the education, training or work-based learning that works.

Youth Service offers guidance and practical support to young people. It is about stepping in early to help build potential through education, training or work-based learning.

Financial assistance and obligations

Some young people will work with a Youth Service provider as part of getting financial support from Work and Income. This includes young people who are receiving Youth Payment, Young Parent Payment or receive support as a partner of a specified beneficiary.

If you’re receiving financial support, you’ll have to meet your obligations to keep getting your payments.
